MINING
Despite the normal Floval control valves used on the mines, we developed a uniquely FLOVAL STOPE ISOLATION SYSTEM. The stope isolation system automatically isolates the air and water supply to the stopes during the off-shift periods. This generates a massive saving on water and air leaks during off-shift periods and prevents the possible danger of mud rushes.

MUNICIPALITIES
FLOVAL control valves are used by municipalities for pressure and flow control in water distribution networks. Other applications are level control in reservoirs and head tanks, surge control and pump protection valves.
PROCESS PLANTS
FLOVAL control valves are installed on numerous process plants throughout South Africa. The specific process determines the valve's control function. Process plants vary between chemical plants, steel manufacturing, mining, power generation, paper and pulp, water purification, cooling systems, water distribution, pump systems and almost any other process where fluid control is required.
