PRODUCT RANGE
PRESSURE SUSTAINING VALVE

| Function
The pressure sustaining valve continuously monitors the upstream pressure in a system and will ensure a constant back pressure up to the valve.
|

| Operation
Should the upstream pressure increase, the passages in the pilot open more to lower the pressure in the valve control chamber, enabling valve to open more to restore the upstream pressure, explained in visa versa procedure.
|
LEVEL CONTROL (MODULATING)
|
Function
The level control valve controls the level of liquid in a tank or reservoir.
|
| Operation
When the liquid level in reservoir is high, the pilot valve will close, creating a back pressure into the control chamber which acts to close the diaphragm in the main valve. When the level drops the pilot will open releasing the pressure in the control chamber permiting the main valve to open.
|
SOLENOID OPERATED
| Function
The solenoid valve will open and close with the aid of electric signals
|
| Operation
Solenoid Off: The upstream pressure is diverted into the valve control chamber, closing the valve
Solenoid On: The upstream pressure is closed. The pressure in the control chamber is diverted downstream and the valve opens.
|
PRESSURE REDUCING
| Function
The pressure reducing valve continuously monitors and controls the downstream pressure regardless of varying flow rates.
|
| Operation
Should the downstream pressure increase, the passages in the pilot reduce to create a larger pressure in the control chamber. This will close the valve more to restore the downstream pressure and visa versa.
|
CONTROL FUNCTIONS
MC - Manual
On / off either locally or remote.Speed control available on open / close cycle (optional on all valves)
NR - Non-return
Closes when downstream pressure exceeds upstream, protecting the system from water hammer.
FD - Float Control (Differential on/ off type)
The valve closes when the water level reaches maximum and opens only at the preset minimum
AL - Altitude Control
The valve opens fully when the water reaches a preset low level and closes when maximum level is reached
BC - Booster Control
Opens gradually after pump starts and closes before the pump switches off, protecting the system from water hammer and surges
RF - Rate of Flow control
Controls a constant rate of flow through a valve
SA - Surge Anticipating
Protects pumping lines from high and low pressure surges during starting and stopping of pumps
DV - Deluge Valves
Fire system valves that can be activated by a low air pressure signal or electrical signal or both (double knock)
MJ - Multiple Jet Control
Fire system valve that is activated by a Quartzoid Bulb
The above are some of the control functions available.Functions can also be combined on one valve i.e electrical solenoid operated pressure reducing valve. Please consult your distributor for further notice.
